RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Cost Controller to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Planning & Control Division.
Mission
In this role, you will contribute to the Group’s financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring processes.
We are offering a fixed-term contract to cover a maternity leave .
Key Accountabilities
* Support in the delivery of financial information, analysis and forecasts to support continuous improvement of business performance;
* Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analysing and explaining information;
* Support and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports that compare actual results with forecasts;
* Support and preparation of budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and implementation;
* Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures;
* Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyse causes of variance;
* Manage cost allocation drivers;
* Registry management cost allocation drivers.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management
Qualifications
* 1-2 years of experience in cost controlling, budgeting, finance, or a related role.
* Basic understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cost accounting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis).
* Ability to work with large datasets and perform cost variance analysis.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different departments.
* Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
