About Us
We are one of Australia's leading engineering groups in the energy and telecommunications sectors, with 15 offices across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and, as of a few months ago, Italy. We specialise in the design of high-voltage transmission lines and electrical substations (up to 500 kV), as well as renewable energy connections and storage system integration. But we are not your typical engineering company! We are investing in advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum cryptography, cyber security and robotics.
About the Role
We are accelerating our international expansion and are looking for all levels of electrical engineers who have graduated in Italy and are interested in pursuing a career with a global engineering consultancy.
The position is based at our headquarters in central Milan. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team where you will be able to shape our growth in Italy while contributing to some of the largest, most interesting and innovative projects in the world, working with our engineering hubs across APAC.
What You Need to Succeed
We are looking for someone who shares our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and who actively pursues continuous learning to shape the future.
* A minimum of a BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 4-years practical experience in similar roles
* Demonstrated experience in electrical design, analysis, or project delivery (experience level appropriate to role seniority).
* Knowledge of electrical systems such as power distribution, control systems, protection systems, or industrial electrical infrastructure.
* Familiarity with electrical design tools and software (e.g., ETAP, PowerFactory, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar).
* Understanding of relevant electrical standards and codes (IEC, European standards, and local regulations where applicable).
* Ability to develop and review technical documentation including single line diagrams, schematics, specifications, and reports.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary engineering teams across global offices.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Proactive mindset with the ability to manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
* Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the growth of a new office and team.
* Professional engineering registration or progress toward registration (preferred for mid-to-senior roles).
* Fluency in English; Italian language skills are highly desirable.
