This exciting opportunity is available for a Materials Application Engineer to join a team dedicated to additive manufacturing in the aviation domain.
The selected candidate will be based in Brindisi, Italy, and will work within a well-structured Engineering Support office dealing with Aero Engines and Gearboxes.
The key responsibilities of this role include R&D, test, analysis, and characterization of materials, as well as verifying and validating development processes for new materials.
This individual will collaborate closely with other departments and interact directly with suppliers to achieve these objectives.
* To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Master's degree in Materials Science or a related field, with a strong focus on Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies.
* You should possess in-depth knowledge about metallic materials and experience in characterization tests.
* Excellent proficiency in English is essential, with fluency in Italian being an added benefit.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, are necessary for success in this role.
