Why This Role Matters
As a Market Access Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring patients have access to life-changing therapies.
Your expertise will influence strategic decisions, shape market access and reimbursement strategies, and help position Abbott as a trusted partner in the Italian healthcare system.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor the national and regional healthcare system laws in order to support the market access strategy definition
- Show the Value: Assess the economic and organizational impact of Abbott cardiovascular therapies in order to support patients’ access to cost-effective care in Italy
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing and clinical research teams to develop product’s value messages
- Support Business strategies: develop economic tools and cost analysis to support local business priorities
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Proven track record in market access, health economics, pricing, or reimbursement within pharma, biotech, or medical devices sector.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and research capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in economic analysis
- Knowledge of the Italian healthcare system and regulatory landscape
- Languages: Fluency in Italian and English.
