Activities include the development and implementation of systems that are field‑deployed by nuclear safeguards inspectors, as well as the underpinning research in information data analysis. In particular, the unit has an AI pole that aims to apply artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics techniques to the field of nuclear safeguards. The objective of the contract is to design the architecture and develop prototypes of new algorithms and applications. /p h3Tasks /h3 pThe task covers the development, testing and deployment of systems that will be installed in nuclear facilities for processing and analysis of safeguards data. It covers the continued development of LCCT (Laser Curtain for Containment and Tracking), which is a surveillance system based on 3D laser scanners, and will also include other development of machine learning algorithms for processing other safeguards data, for example video imagery. /p h3General Requirements Specific Expertise /h3 pThe contractor should have strong expertise in software development, including Python, C++ and Qt libraries, as well as experience with the major machine learning frameworks. He/she should have professional experience involving the analysis of 2D and 3D image data and a solid mathematical background. Experience in the development of large, multi-threaded software systems is of advantage.
