Fulltime in Lecco, Italy: ALSO is one of the leading technology providers for the ICT industry currently active in 30 countries in Europe. We are looking for an experienced finance controller, to undertake the local coordination of financial management of ALSO Italy, including supervision of accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget, and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures in accordance with ALSO Group Finance policies. Key Accountabilities: - Supporting and controlling the work of accounting offices. - Take active part in the Company financial budgeting, forecasting and regular reporting (monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc inquiries) work. - Take active role in the yearly financial closing, participation in the statutory audit of the local entities and Group audit processes. - Supporting the work of various local and Group level internal and external teams related to finance of the Company: credit control, AP, AR and finance controlling. - Active participation in development, documentation, and implementation of harmonized Group Finance policies & procedures. - Supporting from finance aspect operational teams, mainly Sales, Product Management, Logistics in their everyday activities and Claiming vendor processes. - Being in the touch with main partners (customers/suppliers) to assure timely financial settlements and financing facilities. - Responsible for monitoring of targets realisation for, among others, profitability, expenditures, cash flow. - Active participation in statutory Group consolidation process, provision of evidence and documentation in relation to the entities in their area of responsibility. - Monitoring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and other statutory requirements. - Audits accounts to ensure compliance with legal regulations and requirements; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information on for the external audit. - Liaison with Tax advisors, authorities, and other regulatory bodies. - Participation in various ad-hoc projects. Your Profile: - College or University degree (finance / accountancy / economics). - Strong knowledge of all functional areas of Finance. - 5 years experience working in finance role with relevant management reporting, and controlling experience. - Ability to work on conflicting priorities, be proactive and self-motivated. - Result oriented, flexible and open-minded, good attention to detail, self-starter. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty. - Fluent in English language. - Excellent computer skills and solid understanding of accounting software principles. - SAP knowledge is an advantage. - It is one of our fundamental values to respect human rights and to ensure that they are respected.
