Position : RPG Programmer Our client, a market leader in high-quality Home Products, founded in 1946, is seeking an experienced RPG Programmer. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience and is familiar with application support, infrastructure management, and system development. Responsibilities : Provide technical support for company applications, resolving issues promptly (second and third level troubleshooting). Manage IT infrastructure : monitor, maintain, and optimize servers, storage, and networks, coordinating external suppliers. Develop internal scripts and control programs to automate and improve business processes. Manage Windows operating systems and VMware virtualization environments. Implement backup and recovery strategies. Plan, analyze, develop, and manage internal technological projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance. Oversee security policies and regulatory compliance (GDPR, ITIL). Train users and junior team members; prepare technical documentation such as inventories. Required Skills : Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of at least one programming language, e.g., RPG for AS400, SQL, shell scripting. Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity. Personal Skills : Proactivity. Excellent communication skills. Contract Details : Location : South area of Treviso. Working hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30-12 : 00 and 13 : 00-17 : 30. Type : Permanent full-time contract.
