What you will doFor our Building Technologies Solutions division in Milan, we are currently looking for a Sales Consultant in Building Solutions.As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with consultants, as well as promoting Johnson Controls products and solutions.How you will do itEstablish ongoing partnerships with consultants.Manage proposals to ensure quotes meet customer application and operational needs.Prepare accurate, timely quotations that are commercially verified and offer comprehensive solutions.Validate assumptions during promotion meetings and develop detailed cost estimates and scopes of work.Prepare proposals and communication documents for consultants.Provide risk analysis for complete solutions.Understand the full range of JC offerings and their applications in customer solutions.Devise multiple offerings to meet specific program requirements.Develop and maintain relationships with consultants.Identify specification issues or discrepancies and provide solutions.Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and critical needs.Review estimates with operations and sales teams to achieve mutual agreement.Involve estimators and PDEs in developing bundled solutions in line with operational and sales inputs.Own the JC value proposition to consultants by continuously optimizing the link between their operations and our business objectives, needs, and solutions to provide total value and competitive advantage.Understand and apply knowledge of competitors’ products and solutions.What we look forBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience.Five to eight years’ experience in building systems (BMS and integrated solutions) or operational processes.Strong technical expertise to build credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment.Commercial mindset to establish partnerships with customers.Ability to influence consultants on technical project choices.Strong team-oriented attitude.Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.Fluent in Italian and English (verbal, reading, writing).Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.Our benefitsWe offer an exciting position with great personal freedom and professional responsibility.
