Diagnostic Solutions Field Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Solutions Field Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to our customers, ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and delivery of our diagnostic solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. You will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites in Southern Italy, both in Sicilia and Calabria regions. A company car will be available to you.
Main Responsibilities:
* Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade, and preventive maintenance activities.
* Contact customers in a timely manner and schedule service efficiently.
* Connect with sales teams to understand and meet customer needs and expectations.
* Maintain Agilent's customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and procedures.
* Complete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accurately.
* Provide feedback to product specialists, manufacturing or OEM vendors concerning performance anomalies encountered.
* Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before, during, and after service.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* University degree in Life Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) or Technical field (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Informatics).
* Experience in customer-facing and technical support positions OR as an end-user of diagnostic solutions such as genomics and/or pathology in a laboratory environment.
* Computer literacy and knowledge of IT networks, security, and data.
* Full proficiency in Italian and good level of English (especially reading & understanding).
* A valid driving license.
