Job Description Summary The Material Specialist will manage direct material for Aero Alliance Avenza Service Shop (Italy). She/He will report to the Material Procurement Leader in the Material & Planning Avenza Shop organization. This role is a permanent full-time position based on-site.Job DescriptionAs Material Specialist, you will be responsible for: Management of direct material (new and repaired) requests, placing and following up on purchase orders.

It includes quotation management (technical & commercial approval), alignment of PO price, and management of the relationship with vendors for PO execution, checking the status of PO and managing changes.Applying Sourcing Policy with 100% compliance.Advising functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience.Proven experience in Procurement/Sourcing or similar operational activities.Proven experience in the aviation or oil and gas industry, or industrial background will be appreciated.Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.Be flexible in a dynamic environment.Fluency in Italian and English, in writing and speaking.Knowledge of Oracle ERP and/or basic Python (or similar) programming skills is considered a plus.
