Marine Handling Solutions
Product Line (PL) Marine Handling Solutions (MHS) is a supplier of high-end equipment to the Oil & Gas, Offshore and marine segments. MHS product areas are Offshore Cranes, Winches, Lifting & Handling Equipment and Access Equipment. The main office for the MHS setup is in Bergen with assembly site in Gdynia and design offices in Bratislava and Rijeka. For Marine Handling Solutions we are searching for the right candidate for the position as: Service Engineer/Field Engineer MHS (F/M/D)
To further strengthen our team, we are looking for Service Engineers to join us at Palfinger Marine Italy S.r.l.. Whether you are already an experienced senior level engineer or starting your service career on a junior level, Palfinger Marine is the place where you can unleash your true potential!
Your Responsibilities
Installation, Commissioning, Inspection and Servicing of cranes, deck equipment and machinery
Performing scheduled and unscheduled service interventions worldwide both onshore and offshore
Technical support both on worksite and remotely
Service intervention planning/preparations
Comply with company/clients HSE policies
Comply with applicable company policies and quality system
Travel estimated to 150+ days / year
Your Qualifications
Technical education or equivalent combination of education/experience in one or several of the following disciplines:
Mechanical / hydraulic, Electro / Automation / PLC, Siemens - TIA / S7, HMI, Frequency Drives
Maritime / Offshore experience
Good English and Italian language skills written and spoken
Excellent cooperation and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in xjrgpwk a team
Ability to systematically fault trace complex technical issues
Structured, creative and have the ability to multi-task
Qualification for offshore health certificate is mandatory
