The candidate is responsible to manage the relationships with suppliers, follow and execute the Commodity strategies, ensure timely and efficient sourcing of Core Hydraulic components (pumps, motors, valves, accumulators, cartridges, braking systems, cylinders, steering systems etc.) and support production with the procurement of parts, where criticalities exist.\nKey Responsibilities Manages the purchase of medium‑high complexity production parts for plant in Europe in the Hydraulic Components Mechanical commodity group.\nResponsible for tactical and strategic activities involved with the purchase of critical production parts within assigned commodity.\nSupports function for new product launch initiatives while developing and implementing cost reduction and sourcing strategies, leading to improved quality, technology and timely delivery performance.\nDrives, forecasts and reports economic savings performance, negotiates price reductions, increases and long‑term agreements, market test and award new business to maximize leverage, analyzes various reports to capture opportunities.\nSupply/Relation Champion\nEscalation to resolve supply base issues\nProduct cost disputes & invoicing issues\nQuality concerns\nDelivery delays & product development timing delays\nContract negotiations\nCommercial agreements\nMaster supply agreements\nRaw material indexation agreements\nWarranty agreements\nCo‑development agreements\nNon‑disclosure agreements\nCompliance agreements\nImplement the long‑term purchasing strategies to secure the supply of products\nBest cost, acceptable quality, on‑time delivery\nBest in class product innovation and development\nIdentify product innovation & industry trends\nIdentify market demands & competitive benchmark\nCreate purchasing price list and contracts in the GPP system\nUpdate contracts and part number changes after potential technical changes, accomplished negotiations, carry over of p/n to new platform etc. Experience Required Short/ Master Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or Business preferred\nFluent English\nExcellent knowledge in Excel and the Office package\nRelevant product/ commodity knowledge\nKnowledge of supplier’s market for the relevant product/commodity\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in the position Preferred Qualifications Negotiation skills to achieve results\nAbility to work under pressure\nExcellent organizational skills\nAble to independently make some decisions that also affect the team\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nGood team work orientation\nSense of initiative What We Offer\nWe offer dynamic career opportunities across an international landscape.
