For our HQ in Novedrate (CO), we are looking for a Mold Designer to join and strengthen our mold design team.
The team is responsible for the technical development and engineering of molds and dies dedicated to three different manufacturing technologies:
* Sheet metal stamping dies
* Plastic injection molds
* Zamak die castinmolds
Your Role
Working closely with the R&D department, the internal tooling department, and the production team, you will be responsible for:
* Analyzing technical drawings and prototypes of new products or components
* Designing molds and dies for the production of new products and components
* Developing 3D models and detailed technical drawings of tools and related components
* Supporting the internal tooling department during mold manufacturing and fine-tuning activities
* Investigating production issues and implementing corrective or improvement actions
* Optimizing cycle times and contributing to continuous mold improvement and maintenance activities
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate has:
* Previous experience in mold design
* A Mechanical Engineering diploma; a degree in Mechanical Engineering will be considered a plus
* Strong knowledge of 3D CAD software such as Creo, NX, or equivalent
* An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
* The ability to work independently and manage projects autonomously
