POSITION: QUALITY MANAGER
PERMANENT CONTRACT / ITALY

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
As Quality Manager, and part of the Quality and Industrialization Department, you will promote quality as a common value and you’ll be responsible to define the direction for how to improve, providing accessible and clear information on strategies to all employees and achieving an always increasing customer satisfaction combined with a constant reduction of costs of non-quality. You will directly report to the Quality and Industrialization Director, and you will manage a team of 7 direct reports (30 people totally).
You will cover the responsibility of the three main quality pillars: risk assessment and product validation (including management of internal lab), standard definition and quality control, continuous improvement. Your main KPIs will be quality return rate from the market and percentage of waste along the process.
This experience will enable you to collaborate mainly with the Development, Industrialization, Production (internal and external) and Raw Materials Departments and you will have the opportunity to gain international experience being the reference for central After Sales Quality team in Paris, which coordinate Client Quality of all Celine’s product categories.
YOUR IMPACT
1. Define quality standards of finished products and spread them in all functions.
2. Contribute to the spread of risk assessment and prevention culture within the company through the identification of best practices and golden rules.
3. Lead Quality Risk Assessment multifunctional team of around 10 people (all departments involved in product validation) in order to monitor and coordinate the stages of risk analysis through follow-up meetings and by stimulating discussion among the various corporate stakeholders involved.
4. Lead the preparation of Collection Review Meetings with marketing and design from quality standpoint and take part to it.
5. Responsible for quality control at internal and external production sites.
6. Manage worldwide market claims analysis. Definition and follow-up of the improvement plan based on top-offenders and emerging issues.
7. Guide site team of continuous improvement specialists (internal production, external production, raw materials) in approaching quality issues methodically and effectively.
8. Support strategic partners in creation of an internal quality culture and structure.
9. Provide quality reports to management and all employees.
10. Promote the digitalization of processes and route to quality
11. Participate in workshops and meetings on Quality across the group.
12. Spread mindset and method beyond product’s quality and promote a culture of quality with perseverance and passion.
Profile
KEYS FOR SUCCESS
Education :
13. Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in Quality field
Experience :
14. Position requires minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality/Operational excellence in manufacturing field
15. Experience in luxury/fashion business a plus
Competencies:
16. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment
17. Detail oriented, highly organized
18. Leadership and ability to drive people and processes
19. Strong knowledge of quality management
20. Cooperative with good teamwork and solid communication skills
21. Advanced user of MS office (Excel, Power Point) and at ease with the use of Internet tools.
Languages : Fluent in Italian and English with proficiency of other language(s) will be an advantage
