POSITION INFORMATION
Datalogic is looking for a Junior Operations Controller, this position will be a key member of the Operations Controlling Team, supporting month end closing activities and analysis and reporting on Operations performance.
The position will be based in Datalogic HQ in Lippo di Calderara (BO).
ROLE MISSION
The Junior Operations Controller will support the Senior Controller and the Group Operations Control Manager in their daily activities and in the month end closing tasks regarding both Plants and Central Operations Functions in order to monitor, control, and improve the efficiency and profitability of production processes through careful monitoring, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, all while ensuring adherence to the company’s standards and goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in preparatory activities for material ledger, in the calculation of provisions such as warranty and obsolescence, in the analysis and reporting of OPEX and CAPEX expenditure and in the consolidation of Plants financials.
• Perform monthly activities according to the Financial Closing Calendar.
• Support the financial closing process, generate reports and conduct analysis on actual performance of Plants and Operations functions.
• Support Budgeting and Forecasting processes and secure the content-related quality of data input.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education: Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
Language: Fluent English; written and verbal communication; good Italian
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Planning & Control of which 2 years in Operations Controlling, preferably in complex multinational environments where the control is deeply involved into the business
OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC SKILLS
• Knowledge and experience with the main MS Office tools (excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency).
• Familiarity with SAP/other ERP system and Power-BI is a plus.
