THE ROLE
The Synthetic and Systems Biology for Biomedicine Research unit is coordinated by Velia Siciliano.
We are looking for a technician to support the work of the System and Synthetic Biology at the interface of Synthetic Biology and Cell Free systems. The scope of the project is to harness the capability of rationally designed RNA-encoded genetic circuits to develop novel frameworks to biomarkers evaluation, predictive of tumor emergence and progression.
Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be to analyze omics data deriving from RNA-sequencing, single cell RNA-seq, ATAC-seq. Experience with Gene Regulatory Network analysis and development of pipelines for multi-parametric flow cytometry analysis is a plus.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A Master degree in Bioinformatics or related disciplines
- Documented experience in analysis of omics data
- Good command of spoken and written English
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- A PhD in Bioinformatics or related disciplines

- good interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary research team.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- A yearly gross salary up to 35k
- Candidates from abroad or Italian citizens who have carried scientific research activity permanently abroad and meet specific requirements, may be entitled to a deduction from taxable income of up to 90% for 4 years.
