For our entire Ammega Group, in coordination with the Group and Regional Infrastructure team, we are currently looking for a Head of Data Center & Network. Individual accountabilities Provide architectural and design input to strategic direction for the development of the Data Communications, Data Center, group Network, and supporting Infrastructure environment. Create an Ammega global WAN roadmap and manage its implementation. Make recommendations to the Head of Infrastructure for the enhancement of the infrastructure. Identify and rectify poor or obsolete systems or practices. Manage Data Center managed services and on-premise Data centers. Proactively manage the networks (LAN, WAN, WiFi, Mobile) in both corporate and local offices, ensuring performance, security, and contingency. Responsible for network monitoring, reporting, and bandwidth optimization. Shared accountabilities Network & Data Center Security with the IT Security Owner. Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders Supply and Demand Managers. Regional ICT Infrastructure and Networking team. IT Security Owner. Requirements of the Job Fluency in written and spoken English. Proven experience in designing, building, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale IT Data Center & Network systems. Experience managing a team of networking specialists and third-party providers. Experience managing Data Center managed services. Strong expertise in Network architecture and design. Experience with structured cabling (fiber and copper). Knowledge of server network connectivity, teaming, TCP/IP networking, switching, and routing. Expertise in VLANs, HP, and Cisco network switches. Knowledge of firewall technologies, ideally Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto. Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Change Control Processes, and Network Performance Monitoring Tools. Strong technical documentation writing and maintenance skills.
