Context As an IT Business Analyst, you are responsible for managing the lifecycle of innovative business and functional requirements, including collection from stakeholders, defining and designing requirements, aligning and prioritizing them based on the product vision, and monitoring development using project-specific methodologies. You oversee software implementation iterations to ensure adherence to practices, rules, and values, and that goals, scope, and product domains are understood by all team members. Key Responsibilities Lead workshops with customers to capture and document requirements effectively. Manage multiple projects simultaneously according to statements of work. Deliver system design elements such as data migration rules, business rules, and prototypes. Collaborate with PM, Product, Regulatory, and other departments to design solutions that meet project constraints. Design solutions in conjunction with the Enterprise Solution Architect, documented in Business Blueprint documents. Refine and document detailed user requirements, providing clarity for development and QA teams. Work with project teams to enforce best practices and optimize core product reuse, refining requirements with Professional Services and end customers as appropriate. Validate products during development phases following project-specific methodologies. Support QA testing processes, including developing user acceptance criteria. Assist in training for Services, Sales, and Marketing teams. Develop expertise in PLM solutions. Contribute to business case development for innovative proposals. Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams with RFIs and RFPs when needed. Coordinate with third-party entities like system integrators and consultants. Core Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing. Ability to demonstrate software and communicate at business and technical levels. Leadership skills and proactive requirement gathering capabilities. Quick learner with adaptability to new products, systems, and technologies. Strong collaboration skills with internal and external clients. Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Willingness to travel for requirements gathering and project needs. Experience with PLM software implementations, preferably in the food & beverage industry. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal. Educational and Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in functional requirements, use cases, business process modeling, and diagramming, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry. Knowledge of the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience with software design and modeling tools such as UML. Expected to travel domestically and internationally as required.
