Headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan, outside of Detroit, LINK maintains testing laboratories, manufacturing, and support facilities around the globe: Europe, Asia, and South America. /ppbr / /ppstrongAbout the Role /strong /ppThe Proposal Engineer is a technical and commercial role that operates at the intersection of engineering and sales, who is responsible for preparing strongcompetitive technical and commercial proposals /strong, including drawings, technical specifications and cost estimates, combining strong engineering expertise with a commercial mindset. /ppThe role aims to develop customer-focused test bench proposals aligned with technical requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to the company’s commercial growth. /ppbr / /ppstrongResponsabilities /strong /pulliAnalyse tender documents (RFQ/RFP), technical specifications, and contractual requirements to identify the most suitable technical solutions for the proposal of customised test benches in automotive, aerospace, or structural engineering. /liliReview sales information and determine if there is sufficient information to prepare a proposal. /liliInterface with Engineering, Procurement, Sales, and Operations teams to gather technical inputs and define integrated solutions. Assure that every aspect of the tender has been evaluated by each department and the proposal has been developed accordingly. /liliDistribute sales requests to other departments if needed. /liliEnsure all sales requests are properly set up and tracked. /liliGenerate sales proposals: drawings (initial concept), preliminary sizing, technical specification, and cost estimates. /liliEnsure customer requests are satisfied in the sales proposal. Support the sales team during technical meetings, customer presentations, negotiations, and technical clarifications.
