The Role
The firm is seeking an Investment Associate to join its Milan-based investment team. The successful candidate will support the execution and management of infrastructure investments across core sectors, working closely with senior professionals while taking increasing responsibility across transactions and portfolio activities. This role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, and asset management, within a well-established infrastructure investment platform.
Key Responsibilities
Support the evaluation and execution of infrastructure investments (equity and/or credit), with meaningful involvement across workstreams Build and take ownership of detailed financial models (valuation, LBO, and project finance models) Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company analysis to support investment decisions Coordinate due diligence processes and manage interactions with external advisors (financial, legal, technical) Prepare high-quality investment committee materials, presentations, and internal memoranda Support transaction execution, including documentation review and process management Monitor portfolio company performance and contribute to asset management initiatives Track market developments, regulatory changes, and sector trends
Candidate Profile
3–4 years of experience in investment banking, infrastructure/private equity, or project finance Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities, with ability to work independently Exposure to transaction execution and due diligence processes Demonstrated interest in infrastructure investing and real assets Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Fluency in English required; Italian strongly preferred Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline from a top-tier institution
