You will create lighting layouts, specify fixtures, model photometric performance, and ensure our solutions meet both creative and technical standards. Responsibilities
* Develop lighting concepts and detailed designs aligned with client requirements, architectural plans, and project objectives.
* Create lighting layouts, calculations, photometric studies, and fixture specifications using tools such as Dialux, Relux, AGi32, AutoCAD, Revit, or Vectorworks.
* Select appropriate fixtures, technologies, and control strategies to optimize performance, aesthetics, energy efficiency, and compliance with standards.
* Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, project managers, and contractors throughout all project phases.
* Prepare design presentations, mood boards, renders, and technical documentation for clients and internal stakeholders.
* Ensure adherence to relevant lighting codes, industry best practices, and sustainability frameworks.
* Support on‑site inspections, mock‑ups, aiming, and commissioning activities as needed.
* Stay informed on emerging lighting trends, materials, technologies, and control systems to continuously improve design outcomes.

* You bring proven experience in lighting design, ideally around two to three years, depending on seniority.
* You have a strong technical capability with lighting software tools (Dialux, Relux, AGi32) and CAD/BIM platforms (AutoCAD, Revit).
* You have a Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Solid understanding of lighting principles, optics, visual comfort, and color theory.
* You bring strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of explaining design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Excellent creative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
* You are able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to communicate clearly in English.
* Experience in sustainable lighting, human‑centric lighting, or lighting controls (e.g., DALI, DMX, KNX) is a desirable skill.
* Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or other green building certifications is a big plus.
* A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, technical skills, and completed projects can make a difference.
