H3Director Industry Sales Europe - Power and Renewables (M / F / d) /h3 pYou will become part of our Systems Software (SYSS) business. We encourage advancement and offer tangible development opportunities! /p h3Location /h3 pAnywhere in Europe close to an Emerson office and an international airport. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pA collaborative communicative business leader will lead the development and execution of sales strategies for the industry segment, with the goal to drive profitable growth of the SYSS business in Europe. You will be part of a European SYSS Leadership team focused on positioning Emerson as the supplier of first choice for projects, consultancy, and lifecycle services, leveraging our industry solutions portfolio. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ol liEnsure annual sales targets are achieved through effective sales leadership and business strategies. /li liEstablish and maintain a market development and industry growth plan for the segment. /li liLead the European team and support in-country Sales Directors and teams. /li liParticipate in developing and driving plans for Software Platforms (e.g., Mimic, Syncade / RTMS / PKM / AspenTech, etc.) with Industrial Software leadership. /li liMaintain industry knowledge, including trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape. /li liCoordinate project pursuit activities and ensure effective sales management processes, including Solution Selling methodology and training. /li liReport to top management and assume responsibility for Budget, Orders, Sales, and Profitability. /li /ol h3Candidate Requirements /h3 ol liBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field; MBA is advantageous. /li liSeveral years of relevant sales leadership, account management, or general management experience. /li liKnowledge of the industry applicable regulations (e.g., hydro, wind, waste energy) and TCs. /li liProcess Automation / Process control knowledge. /li liIT affinity (SAP, Cloud Solutions, IIOT, etc.). /li liProven track record of delivering results across multi-country and matrix organizations. /li liStrong skills in developing individuals and teams. /li liProficient in English; additional languages are a plus. /li liWillingness to travel up to 50% across Europe. /li /ol h3Ideal Candidate Profile /h3 pYou demonstrate initiative in challenging situations, are excellent at identifying and seizing opportunities, and pursue goals with energy and determination.
