Job Description Summary The Senior Business Process Specialist (SBPS) is a new position within the Strategy, Marketing & Sales Function, part of ITO (Inquiry to Order) Risk, Process & Methodologies. The SBPS reports directly to the Commercial Risk & Business Operations Leader. This role serves as the key interface for the Sales Organization on Commercial Risk Management, Process & Methodology. It involves establishing and overseeing standard-work practices and guidelines to ensure an agile, safe, and compliant order intake flow. Additionally, the SBPS acts as the Focal Point for developing and applying Flight Deck, GE Aerospace's proprietary operating model, within the Sales Function and across cross-functional projects or initiatives. Essential Responsibilities Manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, ensuring data accuracy, analyzing sales metrics, and providing reports for the Avio Aero Senior Leadership Team, guidance to the Sales community, and supporting the internal Monthly Operating Rhythm (MOR). Coordinate with Commercial Leaders for business acquisition tollgates (Gate A1 / B4), ensuring adherence to the “Phase & Gate” approach and compliance with processes and procedures. Ensure the Commercial Risk Management process is properly established and compliant up to the Senior Leadership Team’s Delegation of Authority. Collaborate with Sales, Program Management, and Finance to establish and monitor business acquisition rules, and train the Sales & Commercial Operations teams. Serve as the Focal Point for digital infrastructure development or updates in collaboration with Avio Aero-Digital. Lead projects to establish Standard Work practices and Lean Culture within the Sales Organization, aiming for continuous process improvement. Coordinate with all relevant functions regarding Operating Rhythms, Budget preparation, and process & procedure alignment. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Digital fields. Experience in business & contract management. Knowledge of Financials, Six Sigma principles, and basic contractual features. Fluent in written and spoken English. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required. Desired Characteristics Digital affinity is a plus.
