In your role as I ndustrial Engineering Senior Specialist in our Central Engineering Team, you will be in charge of driving Industrial projects in Ariston Group for the assigned plants/technology worldwide, with the aim of improving plants’ performances through the implementation of industrial projects (e.g. new production line, improvement of existing, etc.). You will be the point of reference for one or more manufacturing process technologies at global level, for all EWH group plants, and lead specific projects on time, on budget and on quality. You will report to the EWH Investment Director., and support worldwide the Plant Industrial Engineers. The role is based in Italy (Marche Region) and will require periodic visit to the plants worldwide You will be in charge of the following : Acting as project manager for cross-plant projects in his/her technological category, a new technology introduction or multi-supplier projects in a single plant; Supporting the Manufacturing Engineering Manager/Director in the execution of major and complex manufacturing engineering projects/initiatives; Developing and consolidating a central state-of-the-art knowledge on all key manufacturing process technologies relevant for the Group; The redaction of standard RFQ documents; Maintaining connections with current and potential suppliers to follow the latest technological developments and to understand the suppliers’ future roadmap; Maintaining connections with plants and R&D to understand current technology deployment and improvement opportunities; Supporting the plant Industrial Engineering managers in the preparation and execution phase of local/standard manufacturing engineering projects/initiatives and helping in identifying cost reduction opportunities and related cost reduction plans; Interacting with WCM team to embed the WCM best practices in all projects; Contributing to knowledge sharing selecting best practices in the Group and growing central standards; Possibly execute special projects (within the Supply Chain & Operations domain). The role requires frequent business trips to support the assigned plants (expected at approx. 60%-70% time spent in business trip. Know-how requirements : Technical competences (with focus on software and electrical installations). CAD drawings skills on production plant layout. Mastering of key tools for data analysis and written/oral communication. Fluent in English and Italian. Knowledge and experience in Digital Manufacturing, Times and Methods and plant layout rationalization. HSE knowledge (CE; “Direttiva Macchine”). Personal Skills : Pragmatic, proactive, can-do attitude, bias for action. Strong rigor & distinctive problem solving attitude. Ability to engage and mobilize cross-functional teams. Ability also to understand implications beyond the Operations domain. Forward thinking. Excellent English and Italian communication skills both verbal and written.
