Experienced - Cyber Data Privacy – Risk Advisory We are seeking a consultant/senior consultant to join the Data Privacy team at Deloitte Risk Advisory in Milan, Rome, working in a Hybrid mode.The Data Privacy business supports our clients in optimizing their cybersecurity strategies, design cutting-edge solutions and govern enterprise security programs that increase resilience and better manage cyber risks, and in shaping the regulation of countries, defining national strategies, and driving the direction of policy making. Your Role The Experienced resource will be integrated into a work team and responsible for:
1. Manage privacy by design activities within wider projects, identifying, evaluating, and designing best in class solutions and strategies to support our Clients to mitigate risks and to be able to demonstrate full compliance with the privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR compliance, CCPA compliance, ISO 27701)
2. Research, analyze and interpret applicable privacy laws and regulations relevant to Europe and national laws and regulations, and international privacy laws, regulations or directives and recommend deliverables, enhancements to processes, policies, procedures, and contracts for all business areas of our Clients
3. Help clients define technical and business requirements for data protection solutions as well as develop business processes and policies related to controlling access to data. This includes helping clients to identify, understand and protect their most critical data throughout the data lifecycle.
4. Face and solve customer challenges in innovative and effective way identifying high value assets to developing standards and guidelines and checking all default capabilities of our Client’s systems in order to mitigate risk, protect data and manage data privacy regulatory fulfillments.
5. Leverage on technology to provide innovation, operational excellence and new business models to customers (eg digital data subjects’ rights management, data retention and deletion)
Winning Requirements
6. Bachelor's degree and approximately 2-5 years of experience
7. Solid expertise in data protection and data privacy compliance in particular advanced level, report, communicate, research laws, regulations, requirements, regulatory audits and risk assessment
8. Knowledge of general cybersecurity concepts and methods such as Governance, Risk & Compliance, incident management, security policy creation
9. Fluent knowledge of English language
10. Passion and curiosity for the cybersecurity industry and technology trends, innovations and frameworks, as well as current IT security technologies
