Location: Italy Salary: Highly Competitive The Opportunity An established joint venture backed by an institutional investor is seeking a Financial Asset Manager to take full ownership of financial performance across a portfolio of nine biomethane plants in Italy. For this hands-on financial asset management, you will be acting as the key interface between the shareholder, internal finance teams, and technical asset management. The mandate is clear: bring structure, insight, and ownership to performance reporting and optimisation across the portfolio. Responsibilities Lead all financial reporting and performance analysis Deliver structured reporting and insight to the investment fund shareholder Build, review and maintain financial models across operational and construction-phase assets Conduct variance analysis and identify root causes of performance deviations Work closely with technical asset management teams to assess operational drivers and optimisation opportunities Coordinate with accounting, legal, asset management and construction teams Drive analysis of optimisation initiatives and assess long-term budget impacts Key Requirements 7–10+ years of experience in financial analysis / financial asset management Strong background in industrial or infrastructure environments Proven ability to independently review data, analyse performance, and produce clear insights Experience managing investor/shareholder relationships (ideally investment funds) Knowledge of renewables — biomethane experience strongly preferred Ability to understand technical drivers and translate them into financial impact Italian (native or fluent) Strong English Why This Role? xpavfwm Direct exposure to institutional investors Strategic visibility across an entire renewable portfolio A rare opportunity to build financial governance within a growing business Strong growth in the Italian biomethane market If you're looking for a position where you can genuinely own performance and influence optimisation decisions, this is worth a conversation.
