Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, you will:
Support the identification and development of new business opportunities in the renewable energy segment, with a particular focus on emerging ocean energy markets (tidal, wave, floating solutions)Contribute to market intelligence activities, tracking industry trends, competitors, and new technologies in niche and fast-evolving sectorsEngage with external stakeholders (developers, EPCs, technology providers, institutions) to position Prysmian as a key partner in innovative projectsSupport the preparation of commercial proposals, pre‑qualifications, and tenders for new and strategic opportunitiesCollaborate with internal teams (engineering, R&D;, product management) to adapt existing solutions or develop new offerings tailored to emerging applicationsContribute to business development initiatives in defense and military applications, supporting strategic positioning and opportunity scoutingAssist in building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities in both renewable and defense‑related marketsSupport client meetings, workshops, and industry events to strengthen relationships and identify new leads
You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are
Fluent in English and another language is a plusDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or equivalent)Up to 3‑4 years of experience as/in a business development roleBasic understanding of energy infrastructure, offshore or industrial projectsStrong communication & interpersonal skillsDecision making attitude, critical thinking and problem‑solving skillsStrong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset
