What you will do The EEHS Coordinator will lead, develop, and deploy energy, environment, health, and safety management programs. The scope includes arranging, providing, maintaining, and continually improving a safe H&S system of work for all employees in our Italian plants located in Brugherio / Vimercate (MB). Core responsibilities: Lead the standardized development, implementation, and verification of Haier Europe’s Energy, Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems. Be responsible for Health & Safety pillar activities for HOPS. Develop and implement effective sustainability and environmental programs for Haier Europe manufacturing facilities. Approve health & safety expenditure proposals from factories, interacting with them on prioritization of interventions (e.g., legal compliance, H&S improvements). Lead the implementation of regional remediation and energy strategies. Plan, coordinate, and conduct assessments and audits to monitor compliance with regulatory and company standards. Maintain, update, and manage the Global EEHS Audit Protocol in line with organizational policies and standards. Provide strategic direction on technical and emerging issues, ensuring EEHS elements are integrated into business planning. Collaborate across business and geographic boundaries to embed EEHS in capital project planning, security, injury management, labor relations, and facility communication. Utilize industry associations for continuous improvement and benchmarking. Develop and implement Energy, Environment, and Safety pillars based on WCM principles for HOPS, focusing on continuous improvement. Facilitate knowledge transfer related to HOPS EEHS pillars by coaching network leaders. Contribute to annual performance assessments, coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and career development of EEHS resources. Manage HR processes for the EEHS team, ensuring effective team dynamics and conflict resolution. Support organizational and competency development through HR initiatives. Provide leadership and mentorship, ensuring appropriate training for team members. What you need to succeed Must have: Fluent in English. Diploma in EH&S or related fields, with relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365. Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills. Excellent relationship skills. Ability to work towards objectives independently. Willingness to travel within Italy. Nice to have: Training qualification. Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 14064 standards, and auditor certification.
