Internal Communications Intern

Within the Malpensa HUB — one of the most modern hubs in Europe, inaugurated in 2020 and designed according to the highest sustainability standards — we are looking for an Internal Communications Intern to support the team in activities that help us tell our story through content, images and narratives that inspire and engage our people.
Main Responsibilities
* Video content production: support in creating internal videos (interviews, storytelling, engagement formats, event recaps), from concept development to execution: filming, editing, post‑production and adaptation for different channels.
* Graphic content creation: development of visual materials (layouts, intranet visuals, posters, slides, social‑style graphics) using editing and design tools.
* Support in managing internal communication channels through innovative multimedia content (videos, podcasts, short digital formats).
* Collaboration with internal teams to identify relevant stories and transform them into effective and engaging visual content.
* Contribution to the organization of events and employee engagement initiatives, producing dedicated video and graphic materials.
* Support to Health & Wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and internal surveys through clear, creative and engaging content.
* Monitoring performance of campaigns and content (views, engagement, internal reach) to suggest continuous improvements.
Skills
* Degree or Master’s in Communication, Digital Communication, Marketing, Advertising or related fields.
* Basic/intermediate video production skills: filming, editing, post‑production (e.g., Premiere, CapCut, Veed or similar).
* Graphic design skills: Canva (required); basic knowledge of graphic tools (Photoshop/Illustrator are a plus but not mandatory).
* Strong writing and editorial content creation skills.
* Excellent command of English.
* Good knowledge of the MS Office suite.

What We Offer
* 6‑month internship (curricular or extracurricular) with the possibility of extension.
* Monthly allowance: €800 + meal vouchers.
* Full‑time schedule, 9:00–18:00 (with possible adjustments based on events/company activities).
* Workplace: DHL Malpensa Hub (Milan Malpensa Airport – Cargo City) with the possibility of smart working (40%).
