Ph3Job Summary /h3 pEngineering Supply Manager within Supplier Management at Tetra Pak Equipment Parts will have a good understanding of the engineering of mechanical parts and their manufacturing processes in order to create price analysis with the aim to effectively reduce associated costs of manufacturing. /p pAs Engineering Supply Manager, you will be a technical commercial specialist and a cost owner of assigned machine module or equipment filling machine and/or distribution equipment. You will fulfil tasks in alignment with overall strategies, to secure the achievement of KPI’s related to quality, cost and delivery with focus on engineering changes over the entire Product Life Cycle. /p pThe position can be based in Lund, Sweden or in Modena, Italy. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liContribute to the definition of the commercial and sourcing strategy in line with Tetra Pak’s future business needs and long-term objectives. /li liLead technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers, leveraging internal Should Cost models to ensure cost transparency and target achievement. /li liLead supplier identification and selection activities based on new product and technology requirements; assess supplier manufacturing and technological capabilities and coordinate sourcing activities within Supplier Management and cross-functional teams in new development projects. /li liCo‑lead the deployment of Design for Cost principles, embedding cost as a systematic decision‑making criterion across engineering and early technology development phases. /li liDrive cost excellence from the earliest development phases by validating product cost targets, ensuring full cost visibility, and maintaining alignment with product architecture, technical specifications, and long‑term cost ambitions. /li liIdentify, evaluate, and enable supplier‑driven technical cost reduction initiatives, fostering early cost‑out opportunities and strong cross‑functional collaboration. /li liSupport Project Supplier Managers and Supplier Managers in technically and cost‑focused supplier negotiations, ensuring alignment with target costs, supplier capabilities, and overall value objectives. /li liMonitor, consolidate, and report results in accordance with defined processes, guidelines, and governance structures. /li /ul h3We Believe you have /h3 pTo be successful in this position it is required to have: /p ul liAn excellent knowledge of the mechanical manufacturing process and of the various production technologies. /li liKnowledge of materials and their machinability characteristics. /li liKnowledge of mechanical design and mental analytical skills with a minimum of five years’ experience in cost analysis. /li /ul pYou are able to lead a technical / cost negotiation with the supplier. /p pYou are results‑oriented, with the ability to use organizational skills and a structured approach to accomplish your tasks. /p pYou have good communication and networking skills, you are supportive and able to manage different stakeholders across functions and cultures. /p pYou have a technical background, University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
