You will manage and support the Vessel management team on board and the vessel technical team in office.How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:This pivotal role is crucial in ensuring the effective management, maintenance, and overall efficiency of assigned vessels and their associated equipment. The selected candidate will be responsible for :Oversee maintenance planning and equipment preparation proposed by vessel maintenance surveyors, always in close coordination with projects and operations.Coordinate technical activities and work closely with procurement to ensure continuous optimization of Opex and Capex costs.Be responsible for investment proposals and budgets in collaboration with the fleet manager and engineering, as well as execute Capex to meet the operational requirements of the vessels for assigned projects and strategic upgradesEnsure systematic control of the total warehouse inventory value, optimizing spare parts quantities based on criticality assessment and withdrawal trends, in coordination with the warehouse management function.Provide vital support for the operational and commercial functions during project tender preparation and execution, aiming to minimize the MBD rate.Contribute to the growth and technical knowledge of vessel maintenance surveyors in coordination with the fleet manager and HR function, ensuring an adequate training process.Promote and contribute to the development of a culture inspired by the dissemination of best business practices and the values of Safety, Quality, Health, Integrity, Environment, and Sustainability.What are we looking for?Education: Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in Marine or Mechanical engineering are preferred. Candidates having the same role with considerable experience as chief engineer on board of offshore vessels will be also considered.Experience: Minimum 5 years as Vessel technical superintendent within the offshore industry.Technical Skills: Marine and maintenance engineering, budget management, HSE, Maritime regulatory framework and Class certificationWhat else should you know?
