We are looking for a: Electro-avionics System Installation Designer
Site: Pomigliano / Venegono Superiore
Responsabilities:
Electro-Avionics Design of Installation of Systems such as Electrical Power, Communication, Lights, Navigation, Self-Protection by means of CAD models and 2D drawings development.
Main Activities:
1. Analysis of requirements defined by Aircraft Specification, System Specification, Interface Control Documents
2. Space allocation of Equipment and main routings contributing to definition of the Aircraft Digital Mock-Up
3. Stressed Layouts for sizing of shelves, racks, supports for Equipment and System components
4. Analysis of installability and maintainability of the designed installations
5. Definition of interaces/frontiers with Partners
6. Release of drawings of details such as shelves, racks, electrical boxes, machined supports, sheet metal supports, connector brackets
7. Release of drawings of assemblies and installations
8. Release of drawings of harness routings
9. 3D models and 2D drawing revisions following modification raised during Aircraft assembly and testing
Main Outputs:
10. Catia v5 3D Models
11. Catia v5 2D drawings or Model Based Design
12. Part List defining materials, standard parts, processes, finishing, installation notes
Main Interfaces:
13. Avionic and Electrical System Designers for requirement inputs and System performance verification on designed layouts
14. Structure Designers for interfaces with Aircraft primary structure
15. Stress Analysts for sizing of Systems components and supports
16. Electrical Designers for electrical schemes and harness inputs for harness routings
17. Air Vehicle Technology for Weight & Balance definition and requirements, Aerodynamics verifications on external components
18. Operations for non-conformities raised during fabrication and assembly
19. Partner Designers for interface definition between Aircarft sections/barrels
Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering
Seniority: Junior, 0 -3 years of experience
Requirements:
20. Knowledge of mechanical engineering (drawings, processes)
21. Basic knowledge of electrical schemes
22. Preferred experience in CAD modelling for Aerospace
