Job Description:
Our vision is to make Amazon the best place for third party Sellers of all sizes to grow and serve customers, leveraging world-class tools and services. The Senior New Key Account Manager will establish and own key Seller relationships with top-tier companies to identify, evaluate, and drive their ultimate success. Serving as the face of Amazon Fashion, you will lead discussions with internal and external leaders to optimize the growth of leading industry brands. You will develop mechanisms to overcome blockers, and will navigate the intersection between Seller goals, Amazon Fashion priorities, and customer needs.
The ideal candidate will have B2B and B2C experience, excellent communication skills, go-to-market experience, and the ability to drive programmatic success at scale.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Account Management
•Acquire a new Tier 1 brand for Amazon (incl. Cold Calling)
• Drive growth for complex, high-value accounts
• Develop and implement account strategies and joint business plans
• Launch and scale high-profile sellers
• Negotiate and structure strategic partnerships
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across organizations
• Coach and develop team members
• Lead cross-functional collaboration
• Manage escalation paths effectively
Business Planning & Execution
• Own strategic planning and performance tracking
• Contribute to business reviews and strategy documents
• Execute strategic initiatives
• Ensure delivery of business commitments
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, e-commerce, retail technology, or SaaS.
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets through a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
• Fluency in German, Italian, and English (written and spoken) at C1 level or higher; strong negotiation skills in at least two of the three languages.
• Experience building and managing relationships with clients or partners, including driving adoption of digital platforms or technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience and success in sales, business development, or account management within the EU Fashion industry.
• Demonstrated success in independently managing complex, high-value accounts with measurable growth impact.
• Experience developing and executing strategic account plans (e.g., Joint Business Plans, Top-to-Top engagement).
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders, including Directors and function leads.
• Familiarity with launching new Sellers and scaling their success on digital platforms.
• Experience contributing to strategic planning documents and audit mechanisms.
• Ability to coach and mentor peers in senior sales and account management practices.
