We're looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our Research and Design team. This role is remote and based in Italy, working closely with product teams across Europe and Canada.As a Senior UXR, you will play a key role in product decision-making. Your focus will be helping teams build and maintain a shared understanding of our customers (both B2C and B2B) and the market, so they can make better, faster, and more confident product decisions.You'll be embedded within Product groups – spanning retail technology solutions and our shopper-facing Marketplace experiences – partnering closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers. You will own research end-to-end, act as a strategic leader, and have a real seat at the table when decisions are made.We're looking for someone who is comfortable working in ambiguous spaces, who can identify the most important questions to answer, and who sees research as a way to move the product forward.Own end-to-end UX research. Plan and execute research across the full product lifecycle; from early discovery and concept exploration, through usability testing, to post-launch feedback and learning.Drive research strategy, not just execution. Identify and prioritize research opportunities based on strategic impact, product risk, and business goals.Partner closely with product and design. Work with Product Managers and Product Designers to test assumptions, shape hypotheses, and guide product direction.Translate stakeholder needs into clear research objectives. Intake complex or vague questions and turn them into focused, actionable research plans.Maintain a strong, current point of view. Stay on top of your domain by combining primary research, product analytics, and secondary research / market trends to support ongoing decision-making.Communicate insights with impact. Share findings in clear, compelling ways that drive alignment and action across peers, managers, directors, and senior leaders.Enable research across the product team. Support and guide Product Designers in running lightweight usability tests and small-scale research, helping build research confidence while maintaining quality standards.5+ years of relevant experience in UX Research, Market Research, Consumer Research, or Consumer Insights.Strong expertise in qualitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, diary studies, concept testing, and generative research.Experience leading and owning the full UX research pipeline – from stakeholder engagement and participant engagement, to insights communication.Proven track record of influencing product and business decisions through research.Experience with self-serve UX research platforms such as UserTesting, User Interviews, UserZoom, Maze, Dscout, etc.Strong ability to distill stakeholder needs into clear research objectives.Solid planning and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple priorities at once.Strong ownership mindset and proactive attitude: you are a self-starter who confidently drives initiatives forward and contributes directly to product and business decisions.Solid research judgement: you know how to select and apply the right research methods at the right time, balancing depth and speed to maximize real product impact.Full command of English (both written and spoken).Experience with quantitative research, including survey design and analysis.Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.Background in retail technology, e-commerce or SaaS products.Experience working with international, distributed product teams.
