Reporting to the Head of Legal, the Legal Counsel is the first point of contact for general legal issues and contracts of various kinds, including SaaS and IaaS contracts, DPA, manufacturing agreements, general contractor agreements, and commercial agreements. Good knowledge of privacy law and privacy compliance requirements is highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partnering mainly with IT and Operations teams on a variety of issues, including negotiating and drafting relevant contracts with great attention to detail.
2. Advising on privacy, supporting the implementation and development of a privacy governance strategy and compliance framework, policies, and procedures for Stella McCartney group.
3. Advising on new projects and initiatives, providing actionable and practical advice to the business on privacy compliance at a global level.
4. Working closely with the CRM Manager, Internal Auditor, and Security Manager to drive and coordinate large cross-functional projects impacted by privacy compliance, balancing the priorities and needs of multiple stakeholders.
Your Talent:
* Degree in Law, preferably fully qualified in Italy.
* 3+ years post-qualification experience with a focus on privacy and regulation.
* Demonstrated sound business and legal judgment.
* Excellent English language skills, including the ability to draft complex legal documents.
* Specific training on Data Privacy Law is a plus.
* The ability to manage multiple critical projects under pressure, working independently and collaborating globally.
* Attention to detail, hardworking, problem-solving skills, and proactive attitude.
