Everyone at Rotman, faculty and staff, plays a role in bringing that promise to life. /ppbYour opportunity: /bbr/Information Technology Services is responsible for all computing hardware, operations, network infrastructure, and systems to support and enhance the School\'s core mission. Rotman students, faculty, and staff use up-to-date technologies to directly enhance learning, teaching, and research. /ppIT Services is divided into four functional groups: Customer Support, Technical Support (networks and Servers), Systems Development, and Multimedia. All groups work together to deliver efficient, adaptable, and reliable IT services. /ppAs the Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to acquire information via Discovery Session with SME\'s and/or end-users to create/document BPMs (Business Process Maps) relating to new Software System requirements or enhancement to existing systems. You will also be responsible for divisional data quality, data acquisition practices and data entry standard. /ppYou will collaborate in the launch, support and maintenance of core operational data and reporting services and business processes. This includes responsibility for eliciting clear, concise, non-conflicting requirements from subject matter experts who may or may not understand how technology can be used to positively transform the business process. /ppbYour responsibilities will include: /b /pulliAnalyzing and documenting business requirements, ensuring the requirements document meets the needs of the stakeholders and users /liliAssessing needs and contributing to the development of business systems /liliResearching, analyzing and recommending potential changes to system features; effectively communicating the analysis results to stakeholders, technical staff and management /liliWriting complex specifications based on system requirements; writing test cases for user acceptance testing and leading user acceptance testing sessions /liliPlanning the implementation of new business system processes /liliTraining end-users on procedures and the use of supported IT systems /liliManaging competing priorities to ensure focus and predictability of deliverables /liliKeeping well-informed on current technologies, best practices and industry standards /li /ulpbEssential Qualifications: /b /pulliBachelor\'s Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experience. A certificate in Business Process Management and/or Business Analysis are considered an asset /liliMinimum five (5) years experience working with business process and/or business analysis on large scale software systems like ERP\'s or CRM\'s /liliExperience with business analysis management methodologies and techniques, including requirements analysis, flow charts, process modeling and process mapping, test design and execution /liliDemonstrated experience preparing and presenting reports to internal stakeholders and training users /liliFunctional knowledge and experience in relational and Object database management system concepts and associated reporting tools /liliStrong analytical skills, able to interpret business requirements and articulate them into models and concepts that plug into bigger scope projects /liliStrong communication skills, able to present requirements, concepts and procedures; able to design and deliver training and support materials /liliSelf-motivated and accomplished at working with minimal supervision, while still delivering quality output within a tight timeframe /li /ulpbAssets (Nonessential): /b /pulliFamiliarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce /li /ulpbTo be successful in this role you will be: /b /pulliGoal oriented /liliSelf-directed /liliTeam player /li /ulpbNotes: /b /ppThis is a term position from March 2026 to March 2027. /ppbClosing Date: /b 02/16/2026, 11:59PM ETbr/bEmployee Group: /b USWbr/bAppointment Type /b: Budget - Termbr/bSchedule: /b Full-Timebr/bPay Scale Group Hiring Zone: /bbr/USW Pay Band 14 -- $91,677. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $117,242.
