For the Summer 2026 season, we are looking for a Maître to join our team at Mangia's Pollina Resort. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring an efficient, well-coordinated service that meets Mangia's quality standards. They will coordinate the dining room staff, support management, and intervene directly in customer relations when necessary.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise the dining room team (chef de rang, commis, waiters), ensuring efficiency and high service quality
* Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, organizing shifts and assigning duties
* Welcome and assist guests, handling complaints with professionalism and discretion
* Oversee table settings (mise en place) and the presentation of the venue, ensuring compliance with company standards
* Coordinate communication and service flow between kitchen and dining room, ensuring accurate timing and smooth operations
* Ensure compliance with hygiene (HACCP) and workplace safety regulations
* Collaborate with management in planning events, promotions, and service strategies
Requirements:
* Proven experience in managing restaurants or dining facilities, preferably in upscale environments
* Excellent organizational and team coordination skills
* In-depth knowledge of service techniques and dining room protocols
* Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
* Problem-solving abilities and stress management in dynamic environments
* Flexibility with working hours, availability for shifts, weekends, and holidays
* Professional appearance and grooming
* Good knowledge of English;
