SAP Financial Planning (SAC or BPC) - Senior Specialist Pay Competitive Employment type Full-Time Job Description Req: 3186 Campari Group today is a major player in the global branded spirits industry, with a portfolio of over 50 premium and super premium brands, marketed and distributed in over 190 markets around the world, with leading positions in Europe and the Americas. Campari IT is organized around Global & Regional/Local layers, the Enterprise Architecture (EAT), Platforms (SAP, Microsoft, ServiceNow), the Global Service Delivery Team and five Center of Expertise (CoE) – Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance & HR (Back Office), Business Development & Legal, Data Analytics and Data Science (DADS). The IT competency centers (CoE-Center of Expertise) are accountable for the development of an IT strategy for their functional area aligned to the overall Campari business objectives and requirements for business capabilities. The Platforms are responsible to design, implement and govern the IT applications accordingly to business requirements provided by CoE’s and guidelines defined by EAT. Campari Group is looking to add an SAP Financial Planning - Senior Specialist and the profile is defined below. General Description of the Role The SAP Financial Planning Senior Analyst, reporting SAP Platform Finance Manager, will own the Global SAP Platform Financial Planning & Consolidation area and will work closely with internal IT team and external IT partners to evolve, embed and enhance the SAP technology landscape to enable new business capabilities and growth, realizing business value. The SAP Platform Financial Planning & Consolidation Senior Specialist, for his/her area of responsibility, will unify global SAP strategy driving enterprise-wide cross-functional alignment, will define the SAP future state and roadmap, will lead the outsourced SAP Delivery Centre, will manage the partnership with SAP and the wider partner ecosystem. T he role is both strategic and delivery oriented and is a key component of the Campari Group OneIT organization, cooperating daily with Functional CoE, Enterprise Architects, Data Architects, Other Tech Platforms (TIBCO, Microsoft, Service Now) and Global Service Delivery in a product-based framework. Innovation, problem solving and managing complexity in a global enterprise environment are key competences to be successful in this role, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate strong team working and commitment, which is central to Campari’s core culture and ethos. SAP Platform is a new concept at Campari Group and this is a unique opportunity to join a growing organization working in a new team considered a strategic asset to properly design, execute and govern the future transformational initiatives. Mission / Objectives This SAP Platform Financial Planning & Consolidation Senior Specialist role is focused on shaping, evolving and optimising Campari Group’s global SAP technology ecosystem to boost Financial Planning & Consolidation capabilities to enable and simplify the organisation’s future growth aspirations, whilst reducing the total cost of ownership of the platform. For what concerning his/her area of responsibility, the key objectives of this role include: Play a key role in shaping the vision for the future state of the global SAP technology landscape Lead the delivery of the SAP technology roadmap for BPC, SAC, Group Reporting, Disclosure Management and any other SAP component supporting FP&A and Statutory team Manage the relationship with the SAP Delivery Centre Collaborate with SAP and other SAP-focused delivery partners Leverage synergies and drive alignment across different functional streams and business units Create a core SAP Platform template to simplify post-acquisition integration of new companies and business units into Campari Group Develop SAP DevOps capabilities within the SAP Delivery Centre, whilst collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure operational excellence Drive innovation, creating an SAP incubator to continuously deliver value for the Business Key Responsibilities and Activities Team Leadership Referring to the functional area and platform components under his/her responsibility: Line management of the SAP Delivery Centre consisting of both Technical and Functional SAP teams Recruitment of new team members and up-skilling existing team members, continually enhancing and maturing overall capabilities of team, to build a high performing “best-in-class” SAP Delivery Centre Refine and optimise SAP Delivery Centre team structure, building out SAP DevOps capabilities Business Value Realization Referring to the functional area and platform components under his/her responsibility: Support business partnership activities working closely with IT CoE’s to engage the global business stakeholder community to contribute to business strategy and to shape, prioritise and deliver transformational SAP solutions Drives collaboration and alignment between different business units and functional streams to leverage synergies, realize opportunities and deliver cost efficiencies relating to the global SAP platform Proactively engages CoE’s to submit and discuss new ideas on business process design and enhancements; works also with Regional/Local IT to involve and engage them on localizations Innovates, explores opportunities and delivers pilots that extend the global SAP platform ecosystem to deliver business value Represents the single point of contact for any questions concerning the global SAP solutions, maintaining effective communication channels and positive working relationships In conjunction with CoE’s, evaluate adoption of provided solution and functionalities defining KPIs and metrics useful to discuss the level of digitalization reached by each business capability supported Project Management Referring to the functional area and platform components under his/her responsibility: Leads the delivery of any SAP stream or project, whether delivered via in-house teams or external partners Defines roadmap and detailed project plan for global SAP solutions in coherence with Program Framework of Campari OneIT Adopts and enforces standard project management methodologies as required by IT Governance Own and ensures project execution and coordinates project teams for action plan, following the agreed timelines and budget Partner Management Referring to the functional area and platform components under his/her responsibility: Owns the partnership with SAP, supporting the platform leader to realize cost efficiencies and maximum value from global partnership with SAP Leads RFP processes to select and onboard SAP technology partners where required Drives value out of SAP partner ecosystem, to ensure consistency in quality of service provided to Campari Group, including strengthening partnership between different vendors where necessary Technology Leadership Own and enhance and optimise the SAP platform for Financial Planning & Consolidation, with a focus on BPC, SAC, Group Reporting, Disclosure Management Customer, including the integration layer with any other Planning Applications and accounting system (mainly S4HANA) Collaborate with CoE’s on the evolution of cloud vertical solutions for planning, such as IBP Lead and provide technical oversight to the functional SAP platform Financial Planning & Consolidation team Working with internal IT teams and external SAP partners, lead the design and architecture of the SAP platform for Financial Planning & Consolidation future state, including the build of a core SAP template to enable simpler integration of newly acquired businesses In conjunction with DADS discuss data sources availability and contribute to the implementation of the overarching Campari Data Platform for Financial Planning & Consolidation Best Practices Referring to the functional area and platform components under his/her responsibility: Identifies best practices in the marketplace to inject new capabilities in Campari Group as benchmarking Selects or define internal best practices to facilitate the cross fertilization among different markets and IT functional teams Develops and maintains best practices, runbooks and process documentation. Experience & Education 4 years of experience in similar roles working in IT in consultancy or multinational complex organization (preferable FMCG or Beverage industry and public companies) Deep SAP expertise and knowledge about BPC or SAC Planning is a must, while the expertise on S4 Group Reporting and BW will be considered a plus International experience and mind-set are a plus Project management experience is a must, preferably on large-scale project streams Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines (Business Administration, Management Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science) is preferred Relevant technologies qualifications a plus - ITIL v4, Agile, Six Sigma, Fluent English is a must, Italian knowledge is a plus, as is a third language Required Skills & Traits Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, “can do” attitude and ability to cooperate and build consensus Proven change management attitude and ability to positively influence the stakeholders Ability to interact clearly with business users with empathy to ensure that solutions deliver business value Ability to formulate clear recommendations on issues Willingness and ability to work with multifunctional teams both in country and across the world Good presentation, verbal and written communication skills at multiple levels of business (strategic to operational) for efficient and timely communication Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a matrix organization Additional Requirements Availability to travel internationally from 15% up to 25% of time.
