Prepare the local yearly EHS plan consistent with Alstom strategy and objectives. Mobilize and coordinate with others to meet those objectives and deploy the plan. Monitor the right deployment of the plan. /li liEnsure EHS Risk Assessment is done appropriate measures to control risks are defined for the Site. /li liPrepare, implement and maintain emergency plans at Site level (where applicable). /li liMake sure activities of sub-contractors are under control with respect to EHS, especially where interfaces are involved with other contractors or operational areas. /li liHas full authority and must stop any operational activity resulting in an immediate high risk to People or the Environment. /li /ul /li libLead the EHS function in the Sites /b ul liMonitor, assist, coach, assess, develop the EHS teams in the site /li liConduct induction programs for new EHS people in the site. /li liInvolve social and medical partners and communicate with them about EHS /li /ul /li libDevelop Site/Depot EHS Management System /b ul liDevelop, deploy and maintain the local procedures and tools applicable to the Site specific for EHS Management System in line with Transport Country/Cluster EHS Management System /li liEnsure that Alstom EHS standards and tools (Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP), Transport Operational Performance in Environment, Transport Key processes) are deployed at Sites level. /li /ul /li libEHS Compliance /b ul liMonitor compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements propose actions to correct any gap. /li liMaintain appropriate records and documentation of the Sites. /li liMonitor historical pollution associated risks. /li /ul /li libDevelop EHS culture in the site /b ul liInfluence the site EHS performance: facilitate change and EHS continuous improvement. /li liBuilt the site EHS communication plan. /li liPrepare and implement an EHS training plan and program with the support from HR and a local EHS communication plan. /li /ul /li libReport, Measure Review /b ul liEnsure that Accidents/Incidents are first prevented, and when occurring, reported, recorded, investigated and analyzed. Establish and communicate Return of Experience (REX) reports in case of severe or potentially severe accidents. Ensure Alstom EHS call for actions are deployed at sites level. /li liPrepare and submit monthly EHS reports. Feed EHS reporting system in line with Group reporting requirements. Is accountable for data quality of the Sites. /li liOrganize and lead internal EHS audits and inspections of the EHS reporting process in the Country/Cluster. /li /ul /li /ul h3Previous Experience /h3 ul liProfessional experience between 5 and 8 years (depending on the size of the Site). /li liExperience of almost 3 years in Environment, Health Safety. /li liHighly recommended experience in maintenance and/or manufacturing sites. /li liGood knowledge and understanding of ISO14001 and ISO45001. /li liDeep knowledge of local legal requirements. /li liExperience in railway is a plus. /li liEHS auditor. /li /ul h3Educational Requirements /h3 ul liUniversity Engineer or Business Degree. /li liHealth Safety Qualification recognized by the enforcing authorities in the country of operation (when required). /li liPreferable Degree level Environmental Qualification to Diploma or Degree level. /li /ul h3Competencies Soft Skills /h3 ul liTeamwork and leadership. /li liInitiative and action driven. /li liCommunication skills. /li liAnalytic thinking, rigorous mindset. /li /ul pYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
