Oversee and execute finance actuals, closing, and reporting activities for assigned reporting unit(s) to ensure timely delivery and accuracy. Monitor the Balance Sheet, conduct financial variance analysis, and address open items to ensure financial stability and accuracy. Review integrity and quality of all sub ledgers, including balance reconciliation, to identify and resolve discrepancies. Actively oversee the financial closing process, lead pre-close meetings, define and implement mitigation actions to address issues, and drive improvements to meet defined deadlines and ensure correctness of actuals. Execution and supervision of A/P, A/R, Assets and General Ledger accounting. Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and all statutory and fiscal requirements of the local legal entity (VAT, Withholding Tax, Fiscal books). Budget and quarterly forecast. Controlling of Daily and Monthly Billing Process Collaboration and Support to fiscal authorities, bank, internal and external auditors and company's legal, corporate and fiscal consultants. Cooperation with local HR to manage employees fiscal and administrative matters. Support Production team to create/monitor/analysis of Capex request and Mixing Cost. Check and execution of vendors payment with strong interaction with local Purchase team. Responsible for the accounting and reporting for DSM Italia and DFS Italy in collaboration with the Shared Financial Service.
