Overview SGS are currently looking for an OHS Program Manager on a 1 year contract tempo pieno (renewable). Your assignment will be with our Client, Microsoft's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Team, to work at Microsoft offices in Milan. Hybrid role (3 days required in the office / 2 days remote) Microsoft's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Team is looking for a team-oriented experienced safety professional to work at their offices. You will have the opportunity to work independently, help develop and implement a local health and safety program and have a big impact directly on the employees you support. Here are some key responsibilities for you in this role: Prioritize work based on team objectives. Complete projects with little need for oversight. Establish and meet deadlines. Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders. Identify and act on improvement opportunities for the program. Facilitate program communications and provide regular status reports to your manager and other stakeholders. Required and Desired Skills Min 5 years of experience in the Occupational Health and Safety field. Post-secondary degree preferred. Must have the needed official OHS qualifications as per local regulations if required in the country. Must possess strong cross team/group/org collaboration skills; ability to foresee and analyze project risks, develop risk management plan and mitigate subsequent issues. Must have good soft skills including a good written communication skills. Must be proficient in analyzing data for trends, developing and executing effective professional communications, and adult learning. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other Microsoft tools or be able to learn to use them. The most qualified candidates will have experience working in a research and development environment or experience working in high-technology industries. Qualification Details You will be the primary OHS support for the MSFT office. Key job duties include: Developing and implementing written programs for the MSFT office as needed. Conducting risk assessments for job tasks. Investigating incidents. Assisting work teams to implement hazard controls. Managing hazardous waste compliance from hardware labs if/where needed. Helping to administer OHS tools like SDS database, training database, and injury reporting process. Participating in the Employee Safety Committee and helping to direct the Committee's activities to ensure good engagement from employees. Working with OHS Global Risk Manager to facilitate Supplier Safety Community, to collaborate on safety and health issues with office vendor groups.
