This is a contract role on the Bookmap marketing team for a paid media specialist with experience managing evergreen paid media campaigns.
The role will report directly to the Marketing Director and will focus on managing performance campaigns for direct paid conversions, upsells, cross‑sells, and winback initiatives. The specialist will build personalized communications, leveraging data and user research to improve paid media performance across search, paid social, programmatic, advertorial, display, video, and other channels. Primary responsibilities include campaign execution, reporting, and continuous optimization.
Core Responsibilities 1. Campaign Execution & Management
* Own daily operational management of paid channels (Meta, Google, and Programmatic) under guidance from the Marketing Director.
* Launch, duplicate, pause, and optimize campaigns based on predefined goals.
* Manage budgets and bids to ensure spend aligns with CPA and pacing targets.
* Monitor delivery issues such as learning limited, underdelivery, and audience saturation.
2. Testing Execution & Creative Rotation
* Execute tests and learn based on an established roadmap.
* Upload new creative concepts and variants.
* Set up A/B tests for audiences, creatives, formats, and hooks.
* Rotate out fatigued ads and maintain naming conventions and structure.
3. QA Ownership
* QA all links, landing pages, and tracking before campaigns go live.
* Catch and flag anomalies such as broken events, zero conversions, or abnormal CVR drops.
4. Reporting & Performance
* Maintain reliable and transparent reporting systems.
* Create customized dashboards.
* Provide daily updates on spend, pacing, key anomalies, and weekly reports on performance, test results, and notable changes.
Qualifications
* +2 years of hands‑on paid media experience.
* Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
* Expertise in flagging risks, blockers, or inconsistencies.
* Experience with analytics and reporting platforms: GA4, Looker Studio, and native platform reporting systems.
* Experience managing accounts with frequent testing cycles and multiple active campaigns.
