H3Overview /h3pElement has an opportunity for a bBusiness Development Director /b. The Business Development Director is an enterprise seller assigned to the highest accounts by sector. The role will also involve leading a cluster team of enterprise sellers to drive strategic growth within a given market or industry. /ppbCandidate of choice will be located in: /b /ppbUK, Germany, Spain, Italy /b /ppIn this role, you will be responsible for pursuing sales opportunities to sell the full breadth of Element services within specified accounts to meet their assigned budget. You will support Strategic or Key Accounts within your territory with activities needed at local sites. The ideal candidate will also be able to lead a team of hunters by example, demonstrating a strategic yet relentless mindset to deliver strong organic growth. The candidate should exhibit managerial courage, be action-oriented, customer-focused, and possess an entrepreneurial drive. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliEstablish and proactively maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts. /liliExpand business with dormant and existing accounts; prospect and develop new potential accounts. /liliIdentify opportunities early in the sales cycle to ensure maximum share of wallet for Element. /liliFollow up promptly on quotations for the assigned customer base. /liliAchieve sales goals by converting, retaining, and penetrating accounts. /liliManage relationships and utilize technical support to assist in sales. /liliProvide appropriate communications to all levels of sales and business development personnel within the sector. /liliProvide positive leadership and represent Element to the public, customers, vendors, and employees through memberships, project participation, employee meetings, and site visits. /liliRepresent the company at industry association meetings to promote services. /liliLead access and persuasion steps in the sales process, including qualifying, relationship building, needs evaluation, solution development/presentation, and closing. /liliIdentify customer testing needs to uncover additional opportunities within accounts. /liliUtilize CRM actively to record activities, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. /liliParticipate in regular pipeline reviews, keeping CRM records up-to-date and identifying critical success factors for opportunities. /liliBuild and maintain knowledge of Element’s service offerings through training and coaching. /liliEnsure compliance with all company policies, laws, and regulations related to safety, environment, and governance. /li /ulh3Skills / Qualifications /h3ulliTechnical experience with sales responsibilities. /liliTesting, metallurgical, or composites experience is a plus. /liliAbility to interpret customer quotes, contracts, marketing materials, and testing specifications. /liliEffective communication skills, both written and oral. /liliAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret data. /liliProblem-solving skills and the ability to interpret instructions and data. /liliValid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record. /liliExperience with testing procedures and requirements. /liliProficiency in Microsoft applications, including Dynamics AX, CRM, Word, and Excel. /liliFlexibility and maturity to represent the company at various events and projects. /liliAbility to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities. /liliExcellent interpersonal and communication skills. /liliAbility to interface with clients, develop proposals, and determine requirements. /liliWillingness to travel up to 75%, including overnight stays. /li /ulpLI-JC1 /ph3Company Overview /h3pElement is a rapidly growing testing, inspection, and certification company with over 9,000 employees across 270 sites in 30 countries.
