Volkswagen Bank is looking for a Legal Intern to join its Legal Department. The selected candidate will be required to have a strong focus on legal matters and will be responsible for the following activities:
Legal Activities
* Support in drafting and reviewing contracts and other legal documents;
* Support in updating corporate powers of attorney;
* Support in managing relationships with external advisors (law firms, lawyers, notaries), also ensuring compliance with all internal procedures and agreed contractual deadlines;
* Support in managing litigation and passive legal proceedings;
* Support in handling customer requests regarding reports made to Credit Information Systems (CIS);
* Support in managing requests for banking inspections, both administrative and criminal;
* Support in managing customer complaints, in coordination with other departments, and in handling customer appeals to the Banking and Financial Arbiter (ABF), the Insurance Arbiter (AAS), and reports/complaints to the Bank of Italy;
* Support and assistance to the Head of Legal in their role as Data Protection Officer. xrdbqlu
Position requirements and personal characteristics
* Knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework;
* Degree in Law or equivalent;
* Excellent knowledge of the English language;
* Strong ability to manage stress and work towards objectives;
* Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
