We’re looking for an OFR South AreaBusiness Development Specialist Job purpose Develop and administer business development plans and processes to generate new/ additional business, maximize profit and grow market share in line with business strategy, financial objectives, Group guidelines and policies Key tasks - Gauging market demand for OFR service in alignment with Sales - Initiating development of products that meet market demand by identifying opportunities and communicating with regional BD and Sales - Training of Sales on products and being the Product special focus for Sales - Supporting Sales in targeting customers and identifying the right products - Supporting Sales and global Product in defining service element by providing input and recommendation - Supporting Sales in developing a customer list according to priority and target - Supporting in solution design for customer requests together with Sales in more complex high priority cases - Delivering input and executes global/regional/local strategies - Interacts with customers in alignment with Sales Job requirements - Requires a minimum of 2-4 years Sales in Freight Forwarding (air and ocean freight required) - Excellent Knowledge of Ocean freight Product - Experience with logistics processes, systems and solutions. - Excellent analytical skills and sales attitude- Results driven and attention to details - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong problem-solving attitude - Capability to recognize threats and opportunities, introducing best practices focusing on delivering continuous improvement and enhanced productivity - Excellent knowledge of targeted geographical area - ITALIAN LANGUAGE REQUIRED WHY join our DHL team At DHL, you will be part of a strong team that respects its employees, society, and environment.
