Systems and Data Center Administrator, Varese
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems and Data Center Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of our servers, GPU servers, and data storage systems. This role involves managing our infrastructure to maintain high availability and reliability, overseeing database management and versioning processes, and implementing high-performance network communication protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, expertise in handling large data volumes, and a deep understanding of cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Storage & Data Management: Maintain and optimize server and large-scale multimedia storage systems, manage and analyze large data volumes, oversee distributed storage solutions like ZFS, implement backup and recovery strategies, and evaluate cloud storage options (AWS, Azure).
* Infrastructure & System Administration: Manage Linux/Ubuntu infrastructure, configure high-performance networks (25G/100G), support containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), monitor resources, plan hardware upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and support CI/CD infrastructure.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
* Proven experience in Linux/Ubuntu system administration, storage technologies (ZFS), backup solutions (Veeam), containerization, and high-performance networking.
* Experience with cloud solutions and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Experience with GPU servers and HPC environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
