Depending on your expertise and experience, you will join either the Exterior or Interior Design team, contributing to projects across our diverse range of brands. This role requires an experienced, highly skilled, and versatile designer capable of leading and collaborating on a wide range of creative automotive projects. A deep understanding of 3D surfaces and the ability to translate 2D concepts into reality is essential. You will work closely with our brand teams, senior management, and headquarters in China, reporting to the Design Manager and Director. Key Responsibilities Design Proposals: Create high-quality design proposals for concept and production car programs through sketches, renderings, and 3D digital models, incorporating fresh and innovative ideas. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other teams to develop digital and physical models and ensure compelling company presentations. Trend Identification: Explore and identify new industry design trends to elevate brand innovation. Communication & Reporting: Present and communicate design concepts and progress regularly to internal teams and the China headquarters. Timely Delivery: Support the Design Manager in ensuring that design proposals meet deadlines efficiently. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Transportation Design, Car Design, or Industrial Design. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in an automotive OEM environment with a strong understanding of OEM design processes. Skills: Exceptional creativity expressed through sketching, digital sketching, and high-quality rendering. Proficient in Adobe Suite, Alias, or similar visual media tools, and Microsoft Office. Strong time-management skills and adaptability to the dynamic priorities of the automotive industry. Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across teams and departments.
