Eaton Corporation has an opening for a Plant Controller who will be based in Bosconero Valve Plant (TO). What you’ll do: The Plant Controller will - partner with Plant leadership to provide meaningful information and analysis regarding manufacturing operations to drive improvements and support meeting our financial commitments. - manage the daily functions related to financial reporting for this site. Main activities involve monthly forecast process, month end closure, variance analysis, financial reporting of cost out actions and department budgeting He/she provides technical competency to ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, legal requirements and US GAAP. - be responsible for business process improvements within the plant and division, creates and implements procedures to improve the internal control environment, streamlines efforts and provides increased transparency of financial results. - be responsible for building organizational capability within the finance function by hiring and developing finance personnel. - support capital appropriation request process since the valuation of the business case to the spending of the proceeds, providing to operations management the financial support needed to meet the committed return on the asset. Qualifications: - Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Economics / Finance - 2 to 4 years’ experience in similar positions, with increasing responsibilities and exposure - P&L and balance sheet controlling skills, with proven track of records - US GAAP - Oracle Hyperion Financial Management / Encore and Oracle ERPs are a plus - Experience on Italian statutory accounting is a plus Skills: - Strong communication skills verbal and written, interacting with people at different levels and departments, both in Italian and English - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Advanced computer skills, including an advanced knowledge of MS Office, in particular of MS Excel and MS Power Point. Oracle/Hyperion expertise is a plus. - Autonomy and flexibility - Attitude in providing timely and meaningful reports when required, working by deadlines and objectives - Strong team working attitude - Well-developed interpersonal skills, team player and willing to learn LI -EC1
