The project
As part of a data center construction project, we are looking for an on-site HSE Coordinator to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the construction phase.
Key responsibilities
-Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
-Monitor daily construction activities to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
-Conduct regular HSE site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
-Enforce the use of PPE and safe work practices across all subcontractors and teams.
-Lead incident investigations and ensure root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented.
-Coordinate and deliver safety briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks.
-Maintain accurate HSE records, including logs of incidents, inspections, and corrective actions.
-Collaborate with site management and contractors to resolve HSE issues in real time.
-Promote a strong safety culture by engaging with workers and encouraging safe behavior.
Support the emergency response plan and ensure readiness for any on-site incidents.
Required skills
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in HSE roles within large-scale construction or industrial projects.
-In-depth knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards.
-Strong experience with on-site safety monitoring, HSE audits, and compliance reporting.
-Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written).
