Ph3Overview /h3pHR Manager position at Sequel Wire and Cable LLC. /ppThis role administers and executes human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. The position also serves as the company administrator for Paylocity. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliAct as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate person. /liliProvide an effective and dedicated advisory service to all Sequel employees. /liliOrganize employee events and recognition events. /liliImplement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. /liliTalent acquisition; ensure a smooth hiring and onboarding process. Accurately input all information into the HRIS system upon onboarding and keep employee information up to date. /liliAttend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as determined by the manager and HRBP. /liliManage onboarding of benefits and maintain accurate benefit information for employees and dependents. Act as a point of contact for benefits questions/concerns. /liliDevelop and run reports for timely HR information (e.g., attendance, benefits, compensation). /liliConduct salary/compensation surveys to keep Sequel competitive in the marketplace. /liliSuggest policy and procedure improvements; keep the employee handbook up to date electronically. /liliEnsure Sequel compliance with state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws. /liliSupport payroll processing and ensure proper benefit deductions are accurate. /liliAct as a point of contact for accident and injury reporting and complete the OSHA 300 log. /liliManage HR projects as needed. /liliPerforms other duties as assigned. /li /ulh3Ideal Candidate Requirements /h3ulliMust be detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills. /liliStrong verbal and written communication skills. /liliMust have a positive team player mentality for the continued growth of all personnel. /liliMust be a self-starter with the ability to meet required deadlines. /liliExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. /liliAbility to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate. /liliAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. /liliBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business, and/or HR experience with a PHR or SPHR certificate. /lili3-5 years HR generalist experience. /liliExcellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics and cultural awareness. /liliResourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies. /liliAdvanced knowledge of MS Office (including Excel), HRIS systems (prefer Paylocity), and being comfortable learning new technical systems. /liliKnowledge of HR federal laws and regulations. /liliProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer; must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and traverse the production facility. /li /ulpSequel Wire is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
